Deployment and analysis of GSM and LTE Base Stations
Phase 1: Preliminary deployment (simulation) of 25 GSM Sites to provide maximum coverage in D.C downtown area, major roads leading outside to Washington D.C, College Park, MD area using the sandbagging approach.
Phase 2: Modified the sites parameters like transmitter power, antenna height, orientation and mechanical tilts to improve the efficiency and coverage of the deployment.
Phase 3: Deployment of 4 LTE Sites in College Park, MD area to provide coverage to University of Maryland Campus with a minimum speed of 2.5 Mbps everywhere in the campus.
Phase 4: Performed Interference analysis (with Microwave Paths) of the deployed sites using the POSEIDON® AWS Interference Calculator.
Mentum Planet (5.7) was used to deployment and analysis of the cell sites.
